Description: Serena Beach Resort & Spa (SBRS) has been a steward for sea turtle conservation since 1993. This critical program goes beyond protecting these magnificent creatures – it’s a stand for the health of our planet. SBRS focuses its conservation efforts on three main sea turtle species, classified by IUCN (The International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List of threatened species: Hawksbill Turtle (critically endangered), Green Turtle (endangered) and Olive Ridley Turtle (vulnerable). The program safeguards the eggs through the use of protective cages within the SBRS property.
