Description: Safe Earth Foundation is a non-profit organization that's contributing to conservation of sea turtles and climate change mitigation and adaption in southern part otherwise called the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Our vision is where local communities are: - aware of risks and opportunities of climate change; - Empowered to take action to mitigate the threats that can be mitigated against; - Empowered to adapt appropriately to those that can be adapted to. Our mission is to: - To demonstrate “proof of concept” to other communities and stakeholders by means of awareness, advocacy and capacity building.
