Description: The COSTA project (COnsolidating Sea Turtle conservation in the Azores) is coordinated by researchers from the IMAR - Instituto do Mar and the University of the Azores and focuses on research and conservation of sea turtles in the open ocean.
Species of focus: Leatherbacks (Dermochelys coriacea), Green turtles (Chelonia mydas), Loggerheads (Caretta caretta)
