Description: The Marine Turtle National Action Plan (MaT NAP) is a strategic planning document aimed at improving the conservation status of French Guianan breeding populations. It was drawn up in 2014 with the support of all the partners in the Marine Turtles Network of French Guiana, for a 10-year period (2014-2023). It is coordinated by the OFB (French Biodiversity Agency), under the supervision of the DGTM (local representation of French Government), both of which support the various stakeholders in implementing the planned actions.
Species of focus: Olive ridleys (Lepidochelys olivacea), Leatherbacks (Dermochelys coriacea), Green turtles (Chelonia mydas)
