Description: The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center conserves and protects sea turtles. We accomplish this through protecting nesting female turtles, their nests, and their hatchlings; through rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sick and injured turtles; through public education about the plight of sea turtles and the threat of their extinction; and through hands-on learning opportunities for students of biology, wildlife conservation, and veterinary science from around the world. A non-profit organization, we view our work as a privilege and are honored to work with these magnificent creatures.
