Description: Ocean Connectors is a binational, nonprofit organization based in National City, California and Nayarit, Mexico with a mission to educate, inspire, and connect youth in underserved Pacific coastal communities through the study of migratory marine life. We have impacted over 40,000 students through in-class presentations and field trips. One of our migratory species of focus is the Green Sea Turtle! In addition, we provide expert-led eco tours to the public to help fund our free educational programs and inspire positive change in the community. Our Wildlife Kayaking eco tour at the restored Chula Vista wetlands is centered around the Green Sea Turtle population living in the south side of the San Diego Bay. We educate people about the Green Sea Turtles' local history, biology, ecology, research, threats, and conservation efforts. We also host kayak cleanups with public groups. Please reach out to learn more about Ocean Connectors or to get involved!
