Description: S.O.S Caretta 'Fishers for Biodiversity' is a project coordinated by HyT Asociation aimed at developing actions to promote the rescue of sea turtles by the fishing sector in the South Atlantic and Strait of Gibraltar and Alboran marine demarcations. The project also develops in-water research and satellite tracking of sea turtles, as well as outreach campaign to create awareness about the conservation of marine ecosystems.
Species of focus: Green turtles (Chelonia mydas), Leatherbacks (Dermochelys coriacea), Loggerheads (Caretta caretta)
