Description: Collaboration between SUBMON, the consultancy EcoPacific+ and the Government of Costa Rica, with the funding of the NFWF and the ISSF, to develop and implement an official and obligatory training course for the commercial longline fishing fleet in Costa Rica. So far, 450 fishers and officials have been trained, and a specific training course has been developed for the specificities of the country. Colaboración entre SUBMON, la consultoría EcoPacific+ y el gobierno de Costa Rica, con la financiación del NFWF y la ISSF, para desarrollar e implementar un curso de formación oficial y obligatorio para la flota de palangre de superficie comercial de Costa Rica. Hasta ahora se han formado 450 pescadores y funcionarios, y se ha desarrollado un curso específico para las particularidades del país.
