Description: Together with the Brazilian NGO NEMA, and funded by NOAA's Bycatch Reduction Engineering Program (BREP) we are carrying out research on board bottom trawlers of the region in order to ascertain the onset and evolution of gaseous embolia in sea turtles as soon as the come on board the fishing vessels. Junto con la organización brasileña NEMA, y financiado por el BREP de NOAA, estamos llevando a cabo una investigación a bordo de la flota de arrastre de fondo de la región para estudiar la aparición y evolución de la embolia gaseosa en tortugas marinas tan pronto como son subidas a bordo del pesquero.
